Well, it has been awhile since
I have posted, and so I am doing
a little catch up with the following
posts.

My wonderful children (who got me
my Nikon D-50 for a gift last birthday)
got me another lens this year.
I am still learning it's wonders,
but here are a few shots I have taken
with it.
These are the beautiful Bradford Pear
flowers at the front of the yard.

My Christmas Cactus, in confusion, is
blooming right now, and as I have said in
a post last year, it is a hard
flower to get just right. With the new
lens, it is much easier to do.

These next two pictures shows the
wonder of the new lens. I choose the
focus instead of my other lens, which
focuses on the nearest object. You can
see in these two shots, that even though
I am standing in the same spot, I first
focus on the pole, and then focus on
the tree!! YAY is all I can say.
Thank you, my wonderful children!!

Ginger, your pictures are just too good not to be enjoyed by a wider audience! Can you do chapbooks with pictures??
