DIGGING GRAVES

This is the second time in 3 1/2 months that I have had to dig
a grave for a pet. Our sweet cat Simba of over 16 years, died yesterday.
He was a sweet sweet cat and the last one to leave us. He was beginning to
fail in the last few months, but seemed happy and active. These pictures
are of him supervising my weeding in the front yard, just a few weeks
ago. It was a lovely day with him and I knew then, that he would not be with
us for long. Farewell Simba!! You were a good one!!

I'm so sorry about your loss. Simba was beautiful! We recently lost our Siberian Husky - Timber. He was 14 and 1/2. He was our family. I feel your loss. Someone sent me a sympathy card after he died. There was a quote you may have read before, but I like it a lot: "Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's sould remains unawakened." Anatole France.
